The Kiwanis Club of Delano was chartered on November 19, 1954. Currently, the club has no Charter Members.
Weekly luncheon meetings are held on Friday from 12:00-1:30 PM at Kong's Dynasty, 2200 Girard Street (East of Hwy. 99 and South of County Line Rd.) (Effective March 31, 2006).

Fundraisers: Tri-tip luncheon; "Down On The Farm" raffle; and other concession activities.
Service projects include: Annual Easter Egg Hunt; Festival of Carols; Food Basket Program; Community Clean-Up Days; and assistance to the Delano Jr. Miss program, and other community festivals.
The Delano High Key Club and Builders Club are part of the Sponsored Youth Program.
As of 8/31/07 in the WSP/IDD program, the Delano Club has given $50.00 or helped 1,000 kids from IDD. They rank 13th in Div. 33.
In the Div. 33 Bloodmobile Project (5/13/04), Div. 33 has raised $101,515.30 (or 100.11%) of the $101,400 cost to purchase a 3-bed unit for Houchin Blood Service. We have donated $123.00 (or 0.12%) and rank 17th place.
During the 12 months of 2005-06 Administrative Year, the Delano Kiwanis Club with 15 (+9) members had a Div. 33 ranking of: Service Dollars - $496 per member or 2nd place & Service Hours - 175 hours per member or 1st place.
