The Kiwanis Club of Delano was chartered on November 19, 1954. Currently, the club has no Charter Members.
Weekly luncheon meetings are held on Friday from 12:00-1:30 PM at Delano Histroical Park, 133 So. Lexington (S/E/ corner with Garces Hwy.) (Eff. 10/17/08).

Service projects include: Annual Easter Egg Hunt; 4H & FFA projects; Scholarships; Boys & Girls Club; Girl & Boy Scout sposorship; SCICON; Reading Mentors; Habitat for Humanity; Festival of Carols; Star Spangled Spectacular; Historical Park projects; California Parks Ministry; Relay for Life; Community Connections Center.
The Delano High Key Club and Builders Club are part of the Service Leadership Program (SLP).
During the 11 months of 2010-11 Administrative Year, the Delano Kiwanis Club with 16 (+1) members had a Div. 33 ranking of: Service Dollars - $1,958 per member or 1st place & Service Hours - 229 hours per member or 1st place.
As of 9/30/10 in the WSP1/IDD program, the Delano Club has given $50.00 or helped 1,000 kids from IDD. They rank 12th in Div. 33.
In the Div. 33 Bloodmobile Project (5/13/04), Div. 33 has raised $101,515.30 (or 100.11%) of the $101,400 cost to purchase a 3-bed unit for Houchin Blood Service. We have donated $123.00 (or 0.12%) and rank 17th place.
