- Thursday, January 19 - Div. 33 DCM was hosted by Rosedale Club Pres. Darrel Feil at Hilton Garden Inn, Networking - 6:00 p.m. & Dinner - 6:30 p.m. The clubs in attendance were as follows: Bakersfield (1/1), Delano (2), Kern (5), Oildale (5/1), Rosedale (10/3), Shafter (1/1), South Bakersfield (3), Taft (4), Tehachapi (1), & Westchester (2/1). Febuary 2012
- Saturday, February 11 - Cal-Nev-Ha District Mid-Year Conference South will be held at Riverside Covention Center with a January 27th Registration deadline at $40 cost (www.cnhkiwanis.org/Kiwanis-Conventions-Conferences-South.html).

- Saturday, February 25 - Region 11 Conference will be held from 9am-2pm at Alicia's Mexican Restaurant, 441 N. 10th Ave off of 198 FWY in Hanford, CA. The Keynote speaker is Roy Heedem, Lead Area Director- Americas, KI Global Growth and Education, on the topic of "Achieving Club Excellence". Flyer & Registration Forms
- Tuesday, February 28 - Kern Kiwanis Foundation Board Meeting at Mike Dallik Accounting - 113 18th St. (6:30 p.m.)
March 2012
- Tuesday, March 6 - Chair Fred Kittredge annouced that Kern's "Take a Kid Fishing Day" will be held at Hart Park's Mirror Lake from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with Sunset Special Ed students as our guests.
- Wednesday, March 7 - 2011-12 Kern Kiwanis Club Board Meeting at Coco's - Oak St. - 6:30 a.m.
- Saturday, March 10 - Chair Diane McFaddin has set this date for Kern's Family Picnic.
- Thursday, March 15 - For "Special Guest Day", Chair Midge Jimerson asked each Kern member to fill out the 3"x5" card of their guests that they want a letter of Invitation to be sent.
