KERN CLUB 58th HIXSON
On June 23, 2005 during Kern Club's regular meeting, PSDLG John Stephenson, WSP/IDD Chair, presented member Pres Burdette the 57th Hixson Fellowship (#32043). Pres has been out of town causing a delay in receiving his Hixson. (Left)
KERN CLUB 58th HIXSON
On April 28, 2005 during Kern Club's regular meeting, PSDLG John Stephenson, WSP/IDD Chair, presented member Shirley Ventura the 58th Hixson Fellowship (#32044). (Middle)
KERN CLUB 56th HIXSON
On April 21, 2005 during Kern Club's regular meeting, PSDLG John Stephenson, WSP/IDD Chair, presented President Elect Russ Allred the 56th Hixson Fellowship (#32042). (Right)
KERN CLUB 54th & 55th HIXSONS
On March 31, 2005 during Kern Club's regular meeting, PSDLG John Stephenson presented the 54th Hixson Fellowship Diamond Level to a surprised 1998-99 President Charles Neville (#2241-01) and the 55th Hixson Fellowship Diamond Level to a surprised Charter Member & 1961 President John Boydstun (#2242-01). Charles has supported the Worldwide Service Program with IDD cans, and John has made a monthly donation to KIF.
KERN CLUB 53rd HIXSON
On March 17, 2005 during Kern Club's regular meeting, PSDLG John Stephenson presented the 53rd Hixson Fellowship Diamond Level to a surprised 2003-04 President Richard Wiens (#2232-01). Richard is being honored today for his dedication to MDHIOS committee, but when we were looking for a fund-raiser to replace the Pheasant Hunt, Richard suggested the MDHIOS program. In 10 years, we have raised $131,758 for our community service projects. Richard thank you for helping make this event a success.
KERN CLUB 52nd HIXSON
On December 23, 2004 during Kern Club's regular meeting, PSDLG John Stephenson presented the 52nd Hixson Fellowship Diamond Level to a surprised 2002-03 President Fuchsia Ward (#2194-01). Fuchsia is being honored today for her dedication to the East Bakersfield HS KIWIN'S by being a needed driver of a school van to the 27th and 28th District Conventions as well as to last year's Fall Rally South at Knott's Berry Farm. Also, she was ready to drive this year if needed.
KERN CLUB 51ST HIXSON
On October 28, 2004 during Kern Club's regular meeting, PSDLG John Stephenson, WSP/IDD Chair, presented Vice President Marvin Rawls the 51st Hixson Fellowship (#31290).
KERN CLUB 50TH HIXSON
The 50th Hixson Fellowship was presented to 1969-70 President Chuck Anspach (#30419) in his home after PSDLG John Stephenson failed to bring the plaque to the December 16th meeting. It was to be presented in September 2004, but was delayed since Chuck was out of the city. Chuck replaced John as President when he was transferred to Los Angeles by Getty Oil Company.
