The Kiwanis Club of Kern was chartered on May 27, 1948. After 26 years, it was the second club organized in Bakersfield. Kern is one of 8 clubs in the city of Bakersfield plus we have clubs in Delano, Shafter, Taft and Tehachapi which are located in the Western part of Kern County, CA. The 12 clubs make up Division 33, which is one of 45 divisions in the California-Nevada-Hawaii District. We are the largest club in Division 33 with 90 members, and we are growing.
