DIVISION 33 LT. GOV. BULLETIN

April 1997
Editor Rudy Arambula (324-3143 / 871-8073)

From the Lt. Governor

Congratulations to Bakersfield on a score of 95% and to South Bakersfield for a score of 90% on the monthly report!! Way to go folks. Also kudos to Kern for $3,992 spent in March. Their Junior Miss program was a wonderful (as unusual) success. Bakersfield with $1,732 and Rosedale with $1,520 are also to be commended.

With the necessary roll cleaning at the midpoint of our year, our division is down thirteen members. Some of you (Shafter for instance) are having membership drives and contests. East Bakersfield and Kern held visitor days. Keep up the effort and let's try to up our numbers. If you need any help from me, please call.....

The Prayer Breakfast for Division 33 is be held in conjunction with Tehachapi club and the city. It is May 1 at 7:00 a.m. Early I know but let's try to have a big turnout. Interclubs from as many clubs as possible. I will make this deal with you. Th. club with the largest number of members turning out (sorry Tehachapi but not you!) will receive a visit from me and I will serenade the club, individual members, birthdays, anniversaries, or what ever you would like (as long as it dignifies the office of Lt. Governor - my call). What do you say? Any takers?
