FROM THE LT. GOVERNOR
I
want to thank all of Division 33 for the support you have given me in encountering the duties of Lieutenant Governor of this Division. A special thanks to my home club (South Bakersfield) members and their spouses and especially to my wife Bertha.
I also thank Karla and Karen for spearheading my installation and pull things together Also a big thank you to Tom and Karla Jadwin for the beautiful portrait of Bertha and me. This beautiful gifts was presented to us at the installation dinner
Regarding the first Division Conference Meeting, you are coming up with great new ideas to make our Division work together in serving our communities. Some of those ideas are: Sunny Scofield with the Division IDD. fund-raiser to acknowledge a member of the Division with a Hixson award, Tammy Lodermeier suggested compiling a book of information from all Division 33 to inform each member of the Division what each club is doing. Each member will receive a copy of this book, Jim Treanor is putting a professional directory together with all member's names, telephone numbers, addresses and the club the member belongs to.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank Sheila Hayden for hosting the first DCM (Bakersfield Club). We had a great turnout, 36 strong, and this is only the beginning. Let's keep up the momentum and it will be a great year.
