The Kiwanis Club of Oildale was chartered on May 6, 1953. Currently, the club has no Charter Members.
Weekly luncheon meetings are held on Wednesday from 12:00-1:30 PM at Hodel's at Oilve Dr. & Knudsen Dr.

Some Community Service Projects include: Mervyn's back to School & Christmas Shopping Sprees for under privileged, Mercy Center - Kids at Risk Program, Pyles Boys Camp, Children's Miracle Network, and California Living Museum (CALM).
As of 9/30/07 in the WSP/IDD program, the Oildale Club has given $7,233.62 or helped 144,672 kids from IDD. They rank 6th in Div. 33. The Oildale Club has supported the WSP/IDD with 3 Hixsons: PP Wayne Deats, PLG Ernie Wattenbarger and PLG Jim Treanor.
In the Div. 33 Bloodmobile Project (5/13/04), Div. 33 has raised $101,515.30 (or 101.11%) of the $101,400 cost to purchase a 3-bed unit for Houchin Blood Service. We have donated $4,267.80 (or 4.20%) and rank 9th place. Our Thousand Dollar Club members and order are as follows: AS Bob Moss (5) and Bloodmobile Chair Bill Altmiller (9).
